...and we have a bailer
I hate to have to be the one who texts first to confirm a date. I feel like if the guy is the one asking, he should have plan, right? Or does the girl make the plan? Is this why I’m single? But wait, I’m actually pretty good at planning... so good that I actually do it for a living - REAL TALK.
Around noon I texted Dude, we’re just gonna call him Dude for now, asking if I’m $10 richer. I was already slightly peeved that I was going to have to drive out to El Segundo for the date, which was a halfway point for us both... To be quite honest, given how LA traffic can be, if I can date someone within a 6 mile radius, the better - BUT that also means my gfs and I are sure to come across the same guys... and we’re not even talking about my nut ball former roommate who intentionally asked out a guy, only to bring me up on their date... Anyways, this guy lives about 20+ miles away and I don’t think I even have the time or energy for that drive on a day with no traffic.
So Dude says I might end up being $10 richer because work things are happening. He ends up asking if we could reschedule and I say yes. I’m not that too upset because it gave me the night to do what I wanted and I was able to hang out with some friends so it wasn’t the end of the world... But I was also hoping he would be the first person that actually put his money where his mouth was.
I’m gonna eat the candy from the Surprise # - because I deserve chocolate right?
