[Was he cold yet?
The idle thought crossed Bark’s mind as he continued moving forward. Naturally, he was the one carrying all the supplies. Everything felt weightless to him, if he were being honest. It was more efficient to do things this way. This method of travel was what he preferred. It may have taken longer, but it was more meaningful. In his eyes, at least. This wasn’t quite the ice fields, but it was still a part of his zone.
The southern tundra.
The one place in his zone where life could grow. Where there were still a few species of grass, of insects, even fruit trees grew here, scarce as they were. There was actual snow on the ground, mixed with dirt, rather than the ground being of pure ice. While not as low as they were going to get, temperatures were still below zero, the reason why his thought had surfaced to begin with. To Bark, these temperatures were comfortable.
