I finally looked through my Mom, Lilias Wagner Circle's college scrapbook. She attended University of Michigan right after WWII. While there, she dated extensively (she labeled one section "the summer of Bills"), and in 1948, met a Harvard Grad attending Michigan Law, named Bob Jones. There's nobody else after him, until their 1966 divorce. He's my biological father. I dunno, any resemblance? He's skinnier. I'm happy to have been raised by Bob Circle, but was also happy to know Jones from when I was about 23 until his passing a few years ago. The resentment I carried went away when I met him and realized there was no good reason for it. Family history is always complicated.
