DATV Companion Weeks Event Feedback + Interest Check

First, I'd like to thank you all so much for your participation in and continued support of this project! I hope that you all had a good time!

Now that we are all finished for the year, our team would love to hear your feedback on the events, and whether or not you'd be interested in participating again next year! Here is a link to our survey-- all questions are optional, so if you'd just like to let us know whether or not you'd like to join us again, that's completely fine! We would love to hear your opinions about the events if you'd like to share, though <3

The survey will remain open until November 2nd, 2025 at 10:00 PDT.

Yesterday we wrapped up Davrin Week 2026-- we hope it was as much fun for you as it was for our mod team! We loved seeing all of the amazing things you worked on and created, in so many different mediums and styles! As usual, it's time for me to extend a very heartfelt thank you to the mod team for watching the blog, creating assets, interacting with the submissions, and much more!

And I hope you will join me in extending an extra special thank you to @grimrevolution and @mythals-whore, who did such an amazing job this Davrin Week! This was the first time either of them had led a week, and I think they were fantastic-- especially with jumping in to find a solution when Tumblr almost changed the rules on us! You both deserve a huge round of applause and a big nap <3 Thank you so, so much for making Davrin's week as special as he is!

The team and I hope to see you all back here in May for Taash Week 2026 (#DATVTaash2026)!

UPDATES

First of all, we want to thank everyone who participated in our feedback survey so much-- we went through all of your answers and discussed what sort of changes would be best for making DATVCW2026 the best it can be! Here is some of what we decided:

YOU WILL HAVE THE PROMPTS EARLIER We are aiming to provide all of you with the prompts at least six weeks before the events start-- as a result, please keep an eye out for the first prompt survey of 2026 soon! (Who will it be?? 👀)

APPROXIMATELY SIX WEEKS BETWEEN EVENTS While we can't guarantee exactly six weeks due to mod schedules, we have tentatively planned each event to be six weeks apart, so that everyone can have much-needed breaks and have more time to make things!

TWO MODS PER WEEK In order to bring you more of what you love about our events, we'll be doubling up on mods for each week, in addition to continuing to have our support mods! Please keep an eye out for an update to our mods list soon!

While we heard your requests for longer event periods and other character weeks-- we are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed our events enough to want more!-- we do not have plans to change the roster or length of events at this time.

Davrin Week wrapped up yesterday, and we were soooo happy to see all of your incredible art and love for Davrin, our princely Warden! <3 We hope that you all had as much fun as our team did celebrating him!

As is tradition, we'd like to take this time to encourage you to continue to spread the love, and shout out some of the people who you really appreciated seeing during the event-- whether they were creating, engaging, discussing-- whatever! We think it's important to acknowledge everyone's contributions, and we hope you will continue to join us in spreading the love <3
