I love the idea of Dave and Frank having little birthday parties for each other while on Discovery, but I especially love the idea of them knowing Hal's activation date and throwing a surprise one for him, too. Yeah, maybe he can't have cake or anything, but he would understand and appreciate the thought. It would make sense, as one of them told BBC Hal was like another crewmember to them.

IDK, I just think it's a really cute/sweet idea. Especially for android Hal AUs.
