“In the mid-1970s the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency stopped the wholesale destruction of venerable Victorian buildings. Instead, they picked them up and moved them around the neighborhood. Photographer Dave Glass documented the relocation of several such homes in San Francisco in the mid-1970s. As part of an urban renewal effort, these 19th century homes in the Western Addition neighbourhood were moved. They were then sold for just $1 plus the cost of the relocation and renovations.” Source

City at Large III - Outdoor Photo Gallery in Adolph Gasser Parking Lot This has been a photo gallery for years. This 4th and most recent exhibit of some 50 photos was pasted up this past July and will remain for a year or until the paper deteriorates from the weather. 8 Bay Area photographers participated. Five are over age 50. All photographed the Bay Area for several decades. Michael Jang - Golden Gate Bridge 50 year anniversary - the day the bridge flatten. A monumental day in San Francisco history with the unexpected turnout. Jang poster that we previously posted has been weathering on Valencia . . . .

Maury Edelstein - The famous San Francisco twins Marian and Vivian Brown who lived on Nob Hill and were connected like glue.
