Young-Holt Unlimited. California Montage. Uploaded by Bricomaligno
This was the closing record at the Northern Soul nights at the Highland Room at the Blackpool Mecca during the 1970s. Written by Dave Grusin, arranged and conducted by Sonny Sanders and produced by Carl Davis and Willie Henderson (Carl Davis is one of the great undersung figures of Chicago Soul). Young Holt Unlimted comprised Isaac 'Redd' Holt and Eldee Young (formerly of the Ramsey Lewis Trio) and Ken Chaney.
I have loved this for 20 years
