Today's promo interviews: Capital FM and Capital Scotland. Admits he finds it hard to make friends in the industry and is reliant on Dave Sneddon's 'genius' when it comes to writing songs.

Interviewer: [Are there any differences between touring solo and with One Direction?]
Louis: A lot of it feels different, to be honest. You know, obviously I’ve got all the experience from the band, but everything about the process is very different on your own. I’m lucky enough to tour with a live band, and I get on really well with those guys. So I still get a bit of camaraderie and all that, on tour. But you know, everything’s a little bit different.
Interviewer: The cool thing that we got really excited about was the fact that you got to collaborate with the legend— the Scottish legend— Dave Sneddon! 
Louis: I’ll give him a shout out. Love that, love that. Yeah, what a guy. What a guy, man.
Interviewer: What was that like?
Louis: Really, really cool. I’ve known him for… I don’t know, I’m not very good with time, but maybe three or four years now. Yeah, it’s not very often that I’m— I wouldn’t say I’m grumpy, but in terms of making friends in the industry, I’ve not made loads. Sometimes you bump into some funny people, in this game, but Dave is one of those really refreshing, lovely, and really supportive guys. Like, I’m definitely thankful to be able to tap into his genius with the writing, but also to get to know someone who’s just a really good person, too. So yeah, really thankful for it, actually.
Interviewer: What is it like, making pals when you’re Louis Tomlinson? ‘Cuz I find it very hard just making friends going from your 20s to your 30s. It’s just difficult meeting new people. 
Louis: Yeah, it is, it is. You know, often I do meet new people at work and stuff, and that’s probably a way of doing it. But you know what the music industry’s like… There’s a few ****s about.
Interviewer: No! Really?
Interviewer: That has come as a shock to no one.

Agreed. Calling a 47 year old man 'lad'? And always prioritising partying over everything else, breaking work commitments to go out drinking.
It is long but quite interesting in itself if you're interested in songwriting, but he also talks briefly about writing with Louis beginning at 39:47 (all good things - also he is still writing with him for the next album, so there's that as well) and quite unexpectedly names drop Harry together with Adele and Bowie (around 1:09:30)
