Daiya no Ace has some really good ships, but I never wanted to ship Haruichi with Kuramochi (he belongs to Ryosuke), so I created my own character. Say hello to my boy, Dave-kun. He’s a 1st year, when Haruichi is in his 3rd year. He is a transfer stundent from the US and he is of course a really good baseball player. In the beginning Dave is not very fond of Haruichi, because in his old Team he used to play second base (Haruichis position in Seidô) and now he has to sit on the bench, watching the game. While watching Haurichi play, his resentment quickly turned into admiration and he realises that he wants to train even more, to stand a chance against his senpai. This is the first time I created a OC for a show and in the beginning it was just a joke, but now I really like Dave-kun.... So he will stay in my headcanon. q7q
