“Hey, Atlas, you there?”

Rhys’ arms shuddered as he looked upwards to the source of the voice. Currently towering over him was Lilith, the famous siren, The Firehawk. And someone he definitely wasn’t scared of. Not in the slightest. Especially not when she was looking at him with the most annoyed expression she had on deck. Right.

Lilith tapped the hand over on her hip and with the other, she leaned over on Rhys’ chair. She was awaiting the answer. Rhys just had no idea which one.

“Ehm, huh?” he shot her an awkward smile, expecting that she would shine some light at the situation.

“So, you weren’t. Well, I just delivered all the commodities you asked me to, while killing some bandits on the way. On Pandora, that translates to “they’re safe”,” Lilith raised an eyebrow. There was that glow in her yellow eyes that made Rhys shiver, “No big deal, just pay me properly. And listen to me sometimes.”

Rhys sat upright. This time he carefully listened to each and every one of her words. As she wanted.

“O-Of course,” he cleared his throat. “Thanks. Lilith. Yes, I, em. Yes, I’ll handle this in the usual time.”

“You’re sure you’re okay there? You’re all… Phased out,” Lilith gesticulated vaguely at him. He noticed that she bit her bottom lip, probably holding off a smile from her own pun.

No, of course he wasn’t fine. Why would she ever think so.

Ok so he’s a massive people pleaser yeah? What if I were to take that to a logical extreme for his character and he just snaps. Ending up doing absolutely anything to try and make other people happy including killing people. Its not like romantic affection or from a specific person either, just anyone whos nice to him once. Crazy guy with no self esteem, heavily inspired by the song Aishite :3
