A poem for tumblr

You started small and pure

a place for fandoms once to live.

There was xkit and the missing e

For the features you'd not give.

For years were fun

With memes and puns

Then David Carp did split

He left us with

A broken rift

That Yahoo tried to fix.

"Was the beggining of the end" they'd say

As you took away our songs

But what they hey

Site's mostly gay

And at least we still have dongs.

Through homestuck, ask blogs, and tumblrpon

We all stood tried and true;

Fore though we knew "this site is shit,"

Our blood all still ran blue.

Though @staff 's support always ran short

We somehow made it past

But looking at what's happened here

This scary dream won't last.

Verizon's here and seems to have

The end all be all plan

And though we fight with superwholock might

Verizon's still the MAN.

When tumblr's gone,

It wont be long,

What's and emo kid to do?

Twitter's too bright,

Facebook's too white,

And myspace is long dead too.

Now you're taking all our porn, tumblr,

And really noone's surprised.

This marks the end of an era

And I refuse to dry my eyes.

For the tumblr I signed up in 2010,

This would not pass!

So pucker up those dark blue lips,

And kiss my big fat ass.

Жду времени, когда сам Карп пойдёт гусём лапчатым, важным вдоль америкосского забора - а то говорили, рыба она рыба и есть, ан нет!.. Кровавой гречи добавьте - вот вам уже и гусь лапчатый пошел вдоль северо-американского периметра, соседствующего с мексиканским крокодиловым забором не для ленивых, но для прытких и уворотливых. Авось и до Парижской Опера дойдет?.. tumbler-ом по уличному бордюру прям до Елисея?..
