I have always dreamed of being an author, but I expected to be much older before I reached that goal. Over the past several months however, I've done many things that I would have thought impossible just one year prior. In August, I travelled to Rwanda, Africa for eleven days with my entrepreneurship program. In October, I founded my own company, ThunderFox Marketing Group, out of my college library. And now, in January 2015, I have published my first book.
Moving is a collection of essays I've written over the past five years chronicling my growing up in New York City and going off to college in Scranton, PA. My hope in sharing many of my personal battles with prejudice, poverty, family and more is that you find something in them that can help you face your own battles, however similar or different they may be.
