These photos were featured in the opening scene of the movie following the title card which read: "Husbands, A Comedy About Life Death and Freedom, Written and Directed By John Cassavetes". Fun Facts: Sam Shaw, who started out as a photographer and most famously shot pics of his friend Marilyn Monroe in New York during the 1950s (among which included the iconic photos of MM with her skirt blowing over her head while filming the 1955 film The Seven Year Itch) also co-produced Husbands; actor David Rowlands (the tallest of the actors featured in the above gifs) was actress Gena Rowlands older brother, and Gena, of course, was married to actor and filmmaker Cassavetes.
