But then there are the meanings society assigns a fox. A clever animal, a sly hunter. Looked upon as a trickster by outsiders who don't understand, but by those who know them, they are playful little fluffballs. Good at surviving, hard to trap, curious and eager to explore but knowing the importance of home and chosen family.

Beyond that, there are "fox" and "hedgehog" learners. Fox learners (like me) who gain knowledge across many areas and use the crossover to help expand and look at problems differently. Hedgehog learners, who delve deeply into a single or a handful of topics and become specific experts according to a single viewpoint. We each have our strengths and are better when we work together.

I like my name and as much as it has been shaped by me, I find it shapes me in ways I don't expect. Much as the path you take shapes you. Collectively, taken with my full name, it tells my story in ways that keep surprising me, even though I had some choice in it. Well, some of a choice, my friends who have stuck with me and supported me had already nicknamed me "Fox" so there isn't much I can do. 😂 Funny how life goes.
