The video is of an animation, in the frame you can see an islamophobic caricature with a turban, a big hooked nose, big sharp teeth, and a green beard. the caricature has a big evil grin and is cranking some sort of machine that sends green tentacles into the ground.

@namafangirl​ Are you sure that Judaism permits conversion to Islam? Because conversion to Islam means accepting Muhammad as a true prophet as well as believing that Jesus was the Messiah. Both of those are directly contrary to Judaism.

@deborahdeshoftim5779, you seem to misread what I said a little bit.

what I said was “Judaism permits converting to Islam rather than dying”.

You are absolutely right that these beliefs are directly contrary to Judaism, more specifically to some of the 13 Ikarim - the main points of belief a Jewish person should have, as laid down by the Rambam, one of the most important people in Jewish history, and agreed upon by basically every rabbi since. 

However, that very same Rambam was also the one who wrote the famous Igeret Teiman (The letter of Yemen) that he wrote to the Jews of Yemen who feared they would be rejected from the Jewish communities of the world because they were forced to convert to Islam. 

The Rambam explained to them that since Muslims worship the same G-d as we do, albeit in a way that we consider wrong, when faced with the choice between conversion and death - it is acceptable to agree to convert, whereas given the same choice with Christianity a Jew should choose to die.
