Lil Dicky: Next big thing, or next big Flop?
I first heard about him through a text message. My buddy asked me if i had ever heard of lil dicky, and is his song “White Dude”. I listened to it, and at first I was slightly offended, because when you hear it, your first intentions are to hear it for it’s surface content, and not what it really is, which is actually pretty brilliant satire. Here is the song so you can make your own opinions.

I took him for what I thought he was, which was a silly comedy rapper, and never thought anything more about him, until one day I turned on Shade 45 coming home from work, and heard this crazy verse spit over a drake instrumental on Rude Jude’s radio show. I was blown away by the track, and even more impressed when I found out it was dicky. Listening to him talk, he sounds like the biggest goober. Looking at him, he seems like he doesn’t get out much, but this dude can seriously rap.
He’s white. He’s Jewish, and he has about as much swag as a six year old girl, but the kid can really flow. His real name is David Burd. He came from an upper middle class family in the suburbs. His struggle is by no means real. But like when I myself tried to start a clothing company called spk, which poked fun at all the spoiled kids living around me in pikesville, Mr Burd realizes that making fun of himself was a great way to initially connect with the audience.
Dude got over 13,000 downloads on DatPiff for his mixtape, which you can download yourselves if you want right here http://www.datpiff.com/Lil-Dicky-So-Hard-mixtape.491491.html and if you like rap, and can take a joke, I highly suggest that you do. You will thank me me later.
