FAQ Page.
I’ve decided I needed to do a FAQ page with the sudden frequency of traffic to my blog, both positive and negative. Here you can find frequently asked questions, or things you’re curious about and may not want to ask.
Q: When will you update a chapter/fic?
A: I used to have an updates page, but I procrastinate and work on fics in such a sporadic manner, there isn’t much point in having one.
Q: Where is my ask? Why won’t you answer it?
A: This is my blog and I reserve the right to answer or not to answer an ask. If you are coming to my blog to just be rude, passive aggressive with something you don’t like that I’m doing, I will not acknowledge it. I don’t think feeding negativity does anything good for my mental health, or the people on my blog. I am a mom of three and older than 90% of this fandom and getting an ask telling me how to run my blog, or what to and not to say, is something I’m simply not going to tolerate. This is my safe place and if you cannot respect that, you don’t have to be here. I will not be responding to negativity. Period. And just a PSA, I don’t accept negativity on my blog, so I absolutely don’t send it either.
Q: Can I talk to you if it’s not k-pop related and I’m struggling?
A: Yes. You can absolutely talk to me if you are struggling or just need someone to listen. As I’ve said, this is a safe place for me and I want it to be safe for my followers as well. I will never ignore an ask or message if you need to reach out, or ask for help. I am always here. Personal advice will be tagged as #life with jude.
Q: Do you take request?
A: I do take request, but only when I post a drabble game and announce that I’m taking them. If a drabble game has not been put up, I am not taking request. You can check if I have one going by looking at the tag #drabble game.
Q: Do you have any advice for new writers?
A: My advice is always, go with your gut and do what you love. I am on Tumblr because I love to write, it helps me deal with my trauma induced anxiety. You should always write what YOU love. It shouldn’t be about getting notes or followers. The best content, is the content you put out because you love it. It’s your writing, don’t let anyone tell you differently.
Q: How old are you?
A: Like…1000. No, seriously, I’m a vampire. I’ve literally met about 10 people around my age in this fandom. It’s probably best to assume I am older than you.
Q: You’re married and have kids? Does your husband know what you write?
A: Yes. I am married and my husband or as we call him around here, “Smut Husband”, is my biggest supporter. He reads everything I put out and gives me truthful feedback. (If only you could have heard the fit he threw about ch.15 of p&p) I do also have children, but I will not discuss them on my blog.
Q: Why do they call you Rude Jude?
A: Because if you know me personally, I am a snarky, sarcastic asshole who has no filter. You guys get “nice Jude”.
