LOVED UR JEWISH STARSKY POST !! smth i was surprised u didn't mention was the sandwich scene in "collector" when hutch orders pastrami sandwiches and covers both sandwiches with mayonnaise to starsky's disgust -- mayo on pastrami is seen as abhorrent in the jewish community because it draws implications to WASP cuisine, so that further delineates between hutch and starsky's bgs as wasp and jewish respectively
