(Fun Fact: because i didn’t understand what i was looking at for the poster and or got it confused with a screen shot, i thought this movie had something to do with zombies and a la pam getting 28 days and 28 days later confused i kept waiting for the zombies. no zombies, just the massive fire ball finally reaching and overtaking Australia - basically an Australian Deep Impact) The voiceover on the radio for exposition was chilling - but as the movie went on it gave a nice timeline (sometimes in movies like this the characters seem to do things that far exceed the amount of time we’re told they have left), but where did he get his info from? The yellow tint to some of the scenes - especially while they were driving made everything seem already scorched and got you ready for the oncoming firestorm. When in doubt - bite fingers and hit with a hammer. Being asked to help that man kill his family or walking into a house where a family is already dead? I think I’d just bawl the whole time - would not be able to help with something like that, even knowing the end was so close. The Russian Roulette game at the party? The woman who thought she was/wanted her to be Maddy? 😰 yea I’d be crying inside the whole time. Who was the girl he was first with and then went back to? Def would pick her over crazy Vicky at the party. Aunt Janice’s house looked awesome.
