Starting with a rockin pre-game Manhattan at @thecrepeplace , last night’s @davidrawlingsmusic show was Ah-may-zing. A smart person once made the observation that David Rawlings plays his guitar like it’s trying to get away. He did again last night. Most obvious from this close of a seat was the absolute joy he takes in his work. He was having an obvious blast from start to finish. And @gillianwelchofficial ? What’s left to say about the otherworldly talent of this former Banana Slug? And I’ll always keep coming back as long as Willy Watson keeps keepin it clean.
