“MUSICA DE VIENTO”

Puerto Rico born David Sepulveda, aka Don Rimx, grew up in public housing surrounded by drugs and gun violence. While the classically trained Rimx credits the watchful eyes of his parents with "keeping him on the straight and narrow" this background undoubtedly had an impact on his later work and commitment to various community projects. In 2018 Rimx was in the diverse North End neighborhood of Hartford, Connecticut, where he applied his unique visual poetry of line work and color treatment painting "Music of Wind" for the Parker Memorial Community Center on Main Street as part of the @Hart.Paint.City program. @donrimx/
