davidson watched as the man had moved from standing to sitting on the couch. he had felt bad that he couldn't have been there tonight for the other but his schedule had been pretty loaded and busy. he had wished that he had lived in some perfect world where he could only work 40 hours and have the extra freetime for his relationship but lately it hadn't been that easy. he let out a sigh and shook his head, "i'm not trying to talk to you like a kid. i'm just frustrated because i would like to spend more time with you as well. it isnt like i enjoy being stuck at work all the time." he admitted to the other man. "this month has been really busy for me and i am just hoping that at some point in the next month or two it slows down a bit. not only for us but for my own mental health."
