King Felipe VI will be the first Spanish Monarch to participate in this annual forum which has an attendance in excess of 3,000 political and economic experts and leaders, including 60 heads of State and Government. It is believed that the King was first invited to attend the forum back in May of last year, when he attended the World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa held in Jordan.
