Hypatia was known more for the teachings she did in mathematics & astronomy. Her iconic ideas were brought by Apollonius. His hypothesis of eccentric orbits to explain the apparently aberrant motion of the planets fit with the conception of shapes in space that Hypatia conceived  for her calculations on Ptolemy's theory. Apollonius´ material  is located in the surviving false “Prefaces” of the books of his Conics. 

Hypatia worked with those geometric principles. But in her studies the mathematics played a main presence, in a deep way that until now nobody was able to complete or set accurately.

Even though Christmas isn’t a thing on Merrick Prime, the Windor family celebrates anyway. It’s important for baby Davus (and the future 3 additions to the Windor clan) to experience the human side of their heritage after all.

It may not be a Galra holiday but Belost quickly came to enjoy it (although he could do without the hat). It has family time, special food, and ‘accidentally’ ends up under the mistletoe with Aryn on many occasions. Theron and Sulfa love it as a way for justified spoiling of their grandchild(ren). Silixus even comes in to visit as well. He is a part of the Windor family after all.

Aryn and Belost’s first son, Davus Windor-Evans, when he’s grown up and semi-following in his father’s footsteps as a search and rescue operator with the Enforcers. Taking a wealth of knowledge from his father combined with a strong sense of compassion instilled by his mother (and a life of looking out for the little guy as a big brother), Davus quickly becomes a go-to Enforcer for search and rescue. His work mostly involves finding and rescuing lost or injured persons from Merrick Minor, a nearby planet used as a nature reserve for Merrick Prime’s relocated wildlife. He can, however, be sent to other planets under Merrick Prime’s jurisdiction.
