ok but let's just think about christmas before the divorce 

they'd dedicate a whole day to christmas decorations & they would be sliding around in their socks with christmas music blasting in the background & davy would wrap her parents together with tinsel and they would all laugh and it would be a wonderful day

and dean and jo would go crazy getting the perfect gifts for davy & davy would get them really cute gifts as well & they would take dumb pictures and davy and jo would bake while dean snuck spoonfuls of icing when they weren't looking 

and now it's just --

davy's christmas with dean is just him and sam hanging a wreath on the door and drinking eggnog and the exchanging of small presents 

and davy's christmas with jo is full of people she barely knows
