This evening I popped along to the student shoe awards at @worshipfulcordwainers .. such a great evening and some amazing talent on show.... I love seeing young talented designers who are dedicated and have a vision along with determination and a lot of drive . . . We were looked after very well with great wines and prosecco from Davy’s and amazing food which included fish and chips, lamb kofte, Eton mess, chicken and mushroom pie the list is endless .... many thks to @alijaynelowe and the amazing folks at @felicitiespr for an amazing evening . . #clotheshorsefoodandtravel #cordwainers #davys (at Clothworkers Hall)

I have vague memories of the Davys cafe from my childhood.  Davys used to be a local chain of cafes restaurants pre Mc Donalds etc that now litter our High st.  I even remember one as far away as Worksop.  What memories do you have of the Davys cafes and restaurants?
