DAWGTOWN CROWDFUNDING CAMPAIGN LIVE!!
So if you’re anything like me and have been following the independent Dawgtown project for over a decade, the crowdfunding campaign for it FINALLY went live!
I made my donations, but I’ll definitely be making more later. I’m begging you guys PLEASE share this around or donate yourself (it can be as little as $1).
I’ve been following this dark 2D animated pitbull xenofiction movie literally since 2014, you have no idea how much I wanna see it completed so bad

It’s been a year since I’ve been animating on this indie film DAWGTOWN and hella fun to have a taste of doing 2D feature film animation. I’ve been focused mostly on the black wolf character, who’s very fitting for me, but more recently I’ve gotten to do some work with Max. I’m looking forward to seeing this project come to fruition.
Disclaimer: These drawings are character studies and have no significance to the film.
This film is under the radar, but if you’d like to check out progress updates or even support it you can find them on Instagram or check out their main page.

I've always had a soft spot for animated stories about animals, especially the ones that aren't afraid to tackle more serious themes.
This project reminds me of the animated films and shows I grew up with in the 2000s. There's something about its style and atmosphere that feels very nostalgic to me.
It's a shame that traditional 2D animation is so expensive and time-consuming, because I'd love to see more independent projects like this. Stories with heart, ambitious worldbuilding, and animal characters are becoming harder to find these days.
Anyway, here's my little tribute to a project I've been following for years.
An ad for the Dawgtown patreon. All the Max animation done by yours truly! :) If you want to see more, throw a little cash Max's way!
