The real question, like it so often is, is what the fuck is Jamie doing here? A rager at the Black manor is really not his scene at all, but the last few days have been such a headfuck that blowing off some steam felt smart... and necessary. “Watch it,” he growls as someone bumps into him, nearly spilling his drink. Maybe he should’ve just stayed at home.

WHERE: the black estate. 

​it was the eve of narcissa’s birthday and they had decided that they were going to throw a party before their parents got back the morning of her actual birthday—the house elves were besides themselves at the last minute arrangements. cissa was already a little bit inebriated by this point welcoming guests—ones they recognized and others that they didn’t—as long as people were having fun that’s all that mattered to them. “drinks are.... over there,” she had motioned to a corner of the room, before losing her train of thought, “otherwise, make yourself comfortable.” she smiled, settling into the couch that they found themselves sitting on.

Never in his wildest dreams had Graeme thought he’d end up back in this bed. It’s a different ward, of course, but the hospital still feels just as it did five years ago - somehow simultaneously too loud and too quiet. It sets his nerves jangling, so when he realises there’s somebody standing next to his bed, he stirs, looking hopeful beneath his injuries. “Can I go home yet?”

the tuft memorial, her entire family was in attendance and she was no exception. she hadn’t spoken more than two words to her mother before she walked away from the mulcibers and their fake grief, their manufactured sympathy. serena however would not lie to her peers and superiors, she wouldn’t make herself cry over people she didn’t mourn the loss of. on the contrary, she was disappointed grace had escaped with their life. and then there was grace too, another person she was attempting to avoid as their last conversation didn’t quite go well. she looked over at the person she had sat herself down next to and nodded at the crowd “not feeling quite social, then?”

“i highly recommend the cotton candy flavour,” hana says looking over the person’s shoulder, keeping her distance still, she had a rare day off and liked to be around the shop with her dad since she didn’t see him as much. “but i’m biased,” she says, knowing her dad had added it because she liked it.

It’s a slow day in Diagon Alley, and Axel is crouched over his open guitar case, counting up the change he’s collected since he arrived an hour ago. It’s not a lot, but he isn’t disheartened - that’s just how it goes sometimes.

Feeling observed, he glances up from what he’s doing, an easy smile spreading across his features. “I’m on a break, but if you have a request, maybe I’ll make an exception.”
