Story: Blotch was born in the rainforest like all the other Rainwings; in the communal hatchery. She was never quite like the other dragonets and was more interested in giving people flowers and rocks rather than practicing camouflage and venom spitting.

By the time Blotch was five she realized that she was genderfluid and came out to her friends, but they were cruel and would bully him. He became violent and attacked them after one particular fight and chased his “friends” away. No one he knew ever messed with em again. Now ey use flirting to keep anyone from asking too many questions and are always plotting ways to get away with the murder of anyone ey find suspicious (not that she would ever go through with it).

They participate in the Rainwing protests for fun but don’t really care what will come of it. They’re only curious to see how things go and where the missing dragons are.

Dawning Rain Application

Lantern is has a very kind soul but has a tendency to snap easily if something bothers her. She’s very good at understanding other dragon’s emotions and helping them through their stuff. She not the best at handling her own emotions as she either ignores what’s bothering her or goes completely off the rails. Lantern is also very good at crafting and teaching herself new skills very quickly. She used to live with her Dad in the nightwing village, but has recently moved up to the Rainwing Kingdom since she wasn’t treated the best at the village since she’s so bright to ever be a Nightwing. She may have a complicated relationship with her Nightwing side, but it still hurts her to see her two tribes fight like this.

Not my best artwork, I know. This is An application for the Dawning Rain rp for @dawning-rain-wof Little Dewdrop the rainwing.

A bit of backstory for her here. Dewdrop has always felt she’s not as good as other rainwings her age, that’s where her strive for more knowledge comes from. She wants to learn about everything she can so she can prove to people she can be useful.

That’s why she always stretches out for more to learn, asks the extra question, that sort of thing.

Their name is Petrichor, they’re a RainWing dragonet that is just... Oh so very stupid. You’d definitely think they’re younger than they actually are, especially since they seem extremely malnourished.

The story stands that their parents disappeared (if that is allowed in the story- for whatever reason, they’re gone) when Petrichor was very, very young. The trauma of it causes them to lash out to anyone who tries to take care of them and they submit to just taking care of themself. Since then they’ve become much more mellow- they used to steal to get by, and seems to particularly like anything shiny, even if they don’t actually need it, but nowadays they just act. And they’re a really good actor at that! They love big productions where they can fully immerse themselves into a role and are very skilled at changing their scales to look like others due to it. Their necklace is from their parents.
