:’D well, can’t be too hard on them, theyre just a game company looking for collabs :’D
I was actually surprised junhwan was down in 7th after the SP because I didn't watch it live and his SP looked so good, but then I checked the starting order and holy shit he skated so early and still currently in top 10? I'm really amazed :Q
Yes! Compared to more seasoned, established junior competitors with harder transitions and more difficult jump layouts in their programs, it would’ve been tough for Junhwan to contend for the top even though he skated well. So considering that he skated so early in the SP, and that it was his first appearance, ending in 7th and within the top ten is a good result.

dawntheduck answered your question “does this mean the letter from Maria Saki telling her to say she and...”
no, I think the letter was real (mamoru's drawing was probably real), but maria and mamoru were probably lobotomised soon after (like the queerat queen; foreshadowing them losing their will and just kept for procreation)
I’m just trying to fill in gaps here (not done the whole series yet so I don’t know if these questions get answered) Maria and Mamoru sought shelter with the monster rats and they probably agreed to keep them happily until after she wrote the letter. Then they probably knocked them out and lobotomized them so they couldn’t fight back. But how in the world did they conceive a child unless the monsters rats learned artificial insemination? Either way it’s so gruesome >_<

it does sound like something that I would like in its themes! I quite like the author’s work with arslan senki, so I’m been thinking of trying LoGH
It’s different from Arslan Senki (though there are similarities) but considering you seem to like the themes, don’t mind slow but very good stories with a lot of world building (I’m thinking of Shinsekai Yori and Psycho-Pass for example even though they’re VERY different from LoGH), you should definitely give it a try!

I guess I should start watching the first series soon lmao
I totally recommend you the original series even if it’s old! Knowing your tastes in anime, I think you’re gonna like it!
