Okay, I’m on it. Detective Dawon will find some pie… for the both of us!! It’ll be our secret. Our managers don’t have to know. (` she gives a quick nod, pretending to put on an invisible hat and monocle before cracking a smile, spinning around and shuffles peek over into the room with all the food, gesturing for him to keep an eye out as she goes in search for pie )

I think my manager gave up a long time ago to try and observe my eating habits. {`a small laugh leaves his lips and he shakes his head once.} Though pie shouldn’t be on the list. But it’s just so tempting ... and it’ll be our secret. {`he grins at the other, glancing around the room now himself in attempt to spot any of the desired goods on the buffet tables which have been set up for the guests of the event they’re visiting.} Any luck? I don’t think I’ve seen anything sweet at all yet ...

“Really….?” she frowned, stopping midway in her attempt to solve the puzzle laid before them in one of the waiting rooms. It wasn’t just an ordinary puzzle— but one of those riddles, or brainteasers.. with a reward for the winner. Dawon wasn’t really the type for these kind of things, but the idea of a day off to spend a day at the spa, without spending a dime.. was too good to pass up. Of course, she wasn’t going to go alone, and since the winner was for two people, she had asked Hyorin to help. Her eyes were on the prize. With a soft sight she pressed her lips together and looked at the other, “ Do you have any ideas…?”

The pen she held between her teeth had been chewed sufficiently by now yet Hyorin does not let go of it just yet. It’s a habit she picked up unconsciously and a really awful one at that but it helped settle off her nerves. By now, her competitive spirit was no longer a novelty and even if the prize was an incentive big enough to have her put on her best thinking hat on. A paper between her and the puzzle carried a variety of possible solutions, none of which a correct one which only added to her frustration even more. “Mhm, just a few minutes ago. I have it noted down,” she mutters, eyebrows furrowing and below them, one of her legs begins moving restlessly. A part of her — a very, very small part of her — wished to give up but damn it, that would not be in her nature. “Is this supposed to lead somewhere? It sounds like an incentive to get out of here and look around. It doesn’t seem like a complete puzzle to me...”

“yes i’m fine! i have no reason not to be. it’s just another ruined pair of shoes. i’ll buy new ones."

         –– She poked at the animal confused about what to do with it. There was no way they could keep it but seeing how, Dawon was able to sneak it inside there was nothing that they could do. Recording was over and everyone was ready to head home. If, Wheein hand’t spotted the tiny face poking itself out of the girl’s shirt then she wouldn’t be in this situation in the first place. “Gosh. Well I can’t keep it and it can’t live here. If you found it outside you should have left it there.” After saying it she regretted it. How can someone just leave a kitten this small to wander in the big city. “I mean it’s a good thing but now what? Did you have a plan?”

“Ditto.” He mumbles, staring down at the menu in his hands. “This.. looks like some ancient language or code they dug up not too long ago that no one can decrypt yet. But- I think maybe starting out with water will be fine, huh? One of my other members have had to have come here before, i’ll quickly just.. text them and ask what the hell is on this menu. I’d like to eat sometime today.”
