hello you intellectuals!! i am a master at procrastinating on the day something is due L O L /big sweats time prompt practically begged me to draw middle school au (my most fav thing ever) so here we are; i couldn’t come up with a specific plot to follow so here are snapshots of the detective boys’ first day of middle school hehe genta now wears glasses and ayumi ditched the headband xd also i totally didn’t reuse a joke from a conan ao :crine: anyway thanks i’m hyped to see what coai week has in store~~

Once upon a time

A boy and A girl

Had one dream.

They walked that path 

Hand in hand.

Their intentions are the same

But they have their own reasons.

Over time, her perspective 

Are slowly changing.

He didn’t notice.

She's  drifting away.

She’s close enough to touch

but the space between them is getting bigger.

Still, he walked straight to their goals.

He called out to her.

She half-turned and smiled at him 

She weighed her options. 

At this moment she could run back to him

and they could continue to the dream they once shared.

She wanted more

So she took a step forward.

Forward to the future she now imagines.

He wanted to pursue truth and justice. 

She wanted to pursue her happiness.
