Not everyday do you have songs that just keeps repeating the same phrase over and over again and you end up not getting fucking mental from it.
This doesn’t make you crazy, it makes you fall into your chair or couch with a nice cup of coffee, looking out the window pondering if maybe you should start believing in god, if that is really just easier? I’m not sure if Michael aka Day Joy believes in god. I know he started writing music because his girlfriend had night terrors - perhaps the white light is the savior of dawn rescuing both of them.
I don’t believe in god, I believe it helps some people, I like this. I believe that this song can help people too, atleast to 4 minutes of their day a bit more nice and chill. Michael’s got a nice voice - he uses it proper too, he’s not trying too hard but there’s some really nice choices in the backing vocals hiding behind the lead, the distant fx’ed guitars are great - it’s slacker-vibes in the modern world. You definitely will not regret spending time with this guy.
