The Initiation: Stage One - Day Thirty - Celebration
The energy in dauntless was a lot different today, but that was to be expected. The rankings were finalized and stage one was finished. There was no training today seeing how they had gotten past that point, and luckily the worst part of the day, the non ranking people having to leave, was done. Now there was a buzzing of a free day, followed by the promise of “the most ridiculous party ever” (according to Sebastian). The transfers, the ones from Candor especially, seemed all to excited about it. Even Blaine was a little excited, although there was only one reason he was planning on going to the party, and that was Hunter. The last few days, they had kept a distance from each other. It was a silent agreement with the two of them, they acted like nothing happened, and continued on even though Blaine found himself more distracted then before. He had to watch himself, because he found himself just gravitating toward Hunter, and his lips tingling like Hunter had just kissed him the way he had in the kitchen. It made him both equally nervous and excited. He was nervous because of a lot of reasons, one being he was hardly experienced. But he pushed that aside, which was easy to do when Hunter looked at him and he could see the corner of his mouth turn up into a slight smile.
Today would be different though, today the mood was lighter, and full of more energy. Even for Blaine, who spent most of his afternoon in the pit watching the comings and goings of his fellow dauntless. It wasn't until later in the evening that he made his way down to the little shopping place. Blaine wasn't really planning on buying things he was just looking for a way to kill time, and to well, people watch. That was something that had never changed from Candor, Blaine loved to people watch, he liked to watch people go about their day, and see how they interacted with everyone, it was even more interesting to see all the same people. Dauntless felt like a huge faction most of the time, but the more Blaine focused the more he realized he saw a lot of the same people over and over again. His people watching lead him to the tattoo shop. It was busy today, although in dauntless it always seemed to be busy. But today it was full of people from Blaine's class, all clutching panels of what they wanted, or their designs. Blaine figured they were rewards for passing the first phase. He still wasn't sure about getting his own, the ones that showed on Hunter were gorgeous, but Blaine wasn't really sure if he could pull one off. That was until he found himself looking at the Dauntless emblem. Everyone in dauntless seemed to have that tattooed somewhere on them, and a lot of kids in Blaine's group were getting them as well. The more he looked at it, and the more he saw people walk by showing off the inky black pictures on their skin, the more Blaine wanted one himself. But he didn't want one /like/ everyone else's.
“Got a tat in mind there Hun?” He heard a voice ask and he turned to see a lady with bright pink hair smiling at him. He had seen her before, but then again he was sure he had seen everyone at least once. “Sort of.” Blaine said quietly “Is there a way to kinda make...” before he fished the woman smiled “Make your own? Course, this is going on your skin, its what you want after all.” He turned away and came back with a piece of paper and a few pens. “Have at it Hun.” she said with a wink, and Blaine smiled. It didn't take long after Blaine had shown the lady what he wanted, before she was setting everything up. People were starting to move off as Blaine sat on the large chair, he figured the “party” or whatever was starting soon, but he was in no real hurry. Even if he did want to see Hunter more then he wanted to admit. “So, this will sting just a bit.” the lady's voice pulled Blaine out of his thoughts and he smiled “I'll be fine, I've had worse.” he said and the lady laughed softly and nodded “good.” she hummed.
It wasn't long before Blaine was headed toward the “party” which he could heard was going in full swing. His wrist was a little sore and he couldn't help but keep glancing down at the thick black ink that was now apart of his skin. He also couldn't wait to find Hunter. But again he wouldn't rush into things. As he approached the pit, he was reminded of his first night here, people where everywhere, it was loud, and it was amazing. It felt more and more like home. And Blaine had proven that he was one of them, at least for now. He really had no idea how he'd find anyone in this, so instead Blaine figured he'd sit and wait and watch. So he made his way through the crowd, getting stopped every once to get a slap on the back and a “Congrats man!” shouted at him, but soon he made it to a table that he promptly sat himself on. He sat on the table with his feet on the bench part, because it made him higher and less likely to be bumped into it.
