Something I've wanted to do mod-wise for a while but haven't had the full confidence/know-how/time...... I've finally done! And it feels very small and silly but-

I've made the Anima minion look like Chuu/Tuesday :D I took off the big (charming) elf ears, closed up the holes in the head (would've devastated the me of last year trying to do) and then resized/Rotated + added on the Moon-Hopper Mount rabbit ears to it instead 😌 Originally I was going to edit the diffuse on both the Moon-hopper and the Anima and have them be two different materials/diffuses, but then I was thinking about how I was going to be trying to match the gradient + the white metal bits anyways and just (I say just as if this is not also a thing that woulda baffled and scared me last year) re-uv'd the Moon-Hopper parts to the Anima minion. 😌

Aaaand originally both eyes were blue and I was just going to cope but I have a full 10 material slots with Dawntrail now....... so I split the eye part of the diffuse off after doing my initial skin/marking matching recolor edit and the blue eyes and then did a pink eye recolor.... and then just made a material that was the exact same except it had a pink eye diffuse.... and I just pointed the other eye at that o: the way people do asym eye textures for faces....! Thoroughly pleased c: my tomorrow plan is going to be seeing if I can't upscale the diffuse at all cos it's- I find it's a little crunchy >>' I might have to redraw the face etchings but it'd be worth it for a couple more pixels to work with imho.

Anyways yeah that was my modding adventure today hoho.

Something really nice about just thinking "having a stuffed animal with me right now would help me" and then going and grabbing one and it helps you like. Wow.

Instead of doing what I meant to do I did something completely else like...... huh

Anyways if I can figure out how to weight + texture this properly for XIV I'll probably release it into the wild (rn it's shaped around B+ Medium)

This is all because I tried to port the Infinikki Forest Fluttering vest and absolutely face planted when it came to trying to get the textures to, anything at all.

I definitely went a little too big with my version tho, looking at this...... cos this was my gist but then me and Keathan started looking at Bnahbara Armor cos we like that a lot too and- well.

I just wanted to make a buggy mashup for Beatle to wear TT^TT (The belt is from the Island Explorer Culotte's or w/e. The pink ones. Everything else is pulled from the Titania model or the Salon Servers Dress Vest; I didn't wanna have too many textures when I was already dreading trying to do Titania's lol.)

Anyways tomorrow is weights/clipping/praying and possibly testing. Or it's Eureka. Idk yet. We'll burn that bridge tomorrow when I wake up.

Also I might try to release just the butterfly bits w/o the salon server bit as a cute belted halter cos a friend liked it 👀 but it depends on me being able to weight this without creeper exploding so we're gonna see lmfao
