I just started drafting again after some mental and physical health things happening in my house. Not sure what the turnaround will end up looking like, but rest assured, this is my primary hobby. Nothing's going anywhere

Ive been thinking about something with Dwalin and Mirabelle Took (technically shes a canonical character, but I made her entire personality up lol), where Dwalin is walking through Hobbiton and hea been all tough and grumpy and pissy and there’s. this. Hobbit. lass. Who. is. walking. so. slowly. and blocking dwalins way, and eventually he gets so frustrated that he tries to shove past her, but she immediately whips around and pushes him back, telling Him off for being so rude. Dwalin has Never been subjected to a good old fashioned scolding, so he just stands there in shock for most of the time, until she huffs and continues on his way. Dwalin stands there for a moment before following her, needing to know her name. i love the big tough guy falling for the lass who doesn’t take any bullshit.

Okay, I’m not sure if you know about my oc, but I oh so want to talk about a really cute scene I made up between Brenior (an orc oc of mine, you can find an intro to him on my pinned post), and Lindir. I ship them very hard. Brenior has a huge love of poetry, and Lindir loves it as well. One day in Rivendell, they are sitting and discussing a book on one of the balconies, while the sun is setting. Brenior suddenly begins sprouting out some poetry about the clouds, saying, “imagine how it would be to be like the sky. Everyday, it splits itself apart, scattering across the most distant corners of the world, only to refind and remake itself once more, exceptionally more beautiful with every day that passes.” Lindir is in awe and starts completely falling for Brenior. Much fluff. Much cute.

Okay, I have this really cute with little Clara Took and her dad Dwalin, with him giving her a riding lesson on a miniature pony. He’s in full control, walking beside her with his hands on the reigns, but by mahal he still gets nervous when Clara tries to stand up in the stirrups. “NOT yet lass, you’re not ready.”. it’s basically just a really fluffy father/daughter bonding moment.
