Here's some random hcs about her that nobody asked for and probably never will lmao. You know, because this webtoon is that underrated.
She's an ESTP. I took the test trying to answer as I think she would, and the results seemed pretty accurate.
She has an older sister who's like 26-28 now and a younger brother who's about 4. She used to be close to her sister, looking up to her, but they grew apart from each other about the time Dayeon started going to high school.
Dayeon never thought much of her brother though - not yet, anyway. He's just so little and stupid and annoying, like he isn't even a fully fledged person yet. She isn't cruel or rude to him or anything, and she doesn't really talk about these feelings to anyone except Seolha, but it's hard for her to truly love or appreciate him.
She's spoiled. She knows that most people can't do shit to her, no matter what she does, and it seems natural to her to enjoy the privilege.
She doesn't like attention seekers and she doesn't like to seek attention herself - but she kinda likes attention and feels like she deserves it, and it irritates her when someone she doesn't deem worthy gets to be the centre of attention while she fades into background.
She likes quiet and confident people - like Harin, Seolha and Dayeon's sister. She also likes bullies like herself but only when they're on her side and following her lead.
She also likes when her victim struggles - but not to much. They can cry, or shiver, or beg her to stop, or panic a bit, but it all should be controlled. They shouldn't swing their arms around or try to actually fight her - but they also shouldn't be unresponsive or she'll lose her interest.
Dayeon is bi but kinda repressed. It's not like her family actively reinforced heteronormativity or anything, but they are more on the traditional side. And Dayeon's never really seen a positive example of homosexual relationship, so there's that.
She's used to finer things in life, obviously, and sometimes she's more concerned about her things than she is about people around her. It doesn't include her close friends but, as we already know, she can easily beat up a classmate for dirtying her shoes.
She really, really likes the game. I'm not even sure who enjoys the game more - Harin or Dayeon. She likes that there are rules but they still afford her a fare share of freedom, and she likes that the game is naturally rigged in her favour - in favour of the rich kids. She likes the control it gives her (because at home, with her family she never has much control), she likes that she can bully people and hurt them and humiliate them and never face consequences.
It's mostly about control and feeling powerful - but not only about that. There's a part of her that just delights in others' pain and discomfort, and that part will not disappear even if Dayeon fully regains the control over her life.
She's a prankster. She enjoys small and harmless pranks but the crueller ones are the ones that get her excited. She hates being pranked herself though lmao.
There's a lot of pressure on her as a daughter of the CLC-group CEO, and unlike Harin or her own sister behaving accordingly doesn't come naturally to Dayeon. She can do that for a portion of time, she can smile and make small talk and then talk business and pretend like it's such a pleasure talking to some rando, but it's so fucking exhausting for her. She hates when her parents make her do that, but the sad thing is the older she gets, the more often they make her come to their meetings and lunches and dinners. It makes her more irritated, and that makes her crueller, angrier.
She's an ugly crier, and she mostly cries when she's feeling frustrated and helpless simultaneously. She kinda hates pretty criers, but if her friend or lover turned out to be one she'd be just... jokingly irritated.
Dayeon is a bitch and I love her so much.
Anyway, if you read this maybe go read Pyramid game, hmm? It's super good, I promise. Every character is flawed, and the way it shows is just so beautiful. I love the way the author draws girls (and I mean it's important, cuz all the main characters are girls), like they're not overly sexualised, but they can be pretty and wear skirts, but they also wear pants and hoodies and it's all fine. Their faces are different and unique too, and also their personalities. And the webtoon is hardcore enough for me to stay interested even though there's no fights, at least in the martial arts sense.
