Roh and I have been playing co-op Halo lately (3/4 of the way through Halo 2 rn) and man, I have actually really missed playing linear "go here, shoot some baddies, see a cool cinematic" games.

Halo does have a dope story, too, but it sure was nice to wrap up a game in like 15-20 hours and just...start the next one? And we'll play 3 and Reach too (they stopped making Halo games after that 😇) and and and it's just nice playing COUCH CO-OP games with my best friend.

There's a horse and a pony that live down the road from us, and I have dubbed them "Local Celebrities - Hoss and Bestie-Pony!"

Every time we drive past them I go "It's local celebrities, Hoss and Bestie-Pony!".

Every. Single. Time.

Roh and I have lore about them now. Like, kids cartoon show kinda lore.

Hoss is an older white horse who is very obviously voiced by Sam Elliot. He's a Doc Hudson-esque cranky former racehorse who had to retire due to an injury, and shut everyone out.

Bestie-Pony is a tan pony with a blonde mane, voiced by Josh Gad. He's the plucky newcomer set on winning Hoss over and making him remember The Power of Friendship.

Weekly shenanigans ensue.

Bestie-Pony's dad would definitely show up in a few eps, voiced by Danny DeVito.

Forgor to apply for Supanova before the early bird prices ended (i am NOT paying $600+ for a fucking artist alley table because that's fucking bananas)

Got rejected for Oz-Comicon coz they suck (truly, lots of artists and makers are mad bc OZCC is hella cliquey and just keep accepting the same artists every single year)

Just applied for a con in Adelaide so fingers crossed.

I need to do at least one mainland con this year or I will go insane(er)
