Day and Night Cycle Speculation

Chances are the day and night cycle will be brought back in the new games. I mean it would just be weird not to given the game’s titles. But I had an idea. What if the legendaries had a move that could be used outside of battle to change the time. If this were to be added, there would most likely be a limit. Maybe only once every three days (like Hoopa Unbound) and only be effective for an hour. These moves could be something like Solar Flare and Lunar Eclipse. This could allow Pokemon such as Eevee to evolve into Umbreon and Espeon whenever the player wants as well as allow access to areas only accessible during certain times.

On a side note, I believe it is entirely possible that the cycle will become stuck when the legendaries first appear in the game (kind of like how Groudon covered Hoenn in sunlight while Kyogre doused it in rain). This would make a nice little detail.
