Imagining Lance having pictures of him and the team stuck to the wall inside his bunk in the red lion, but having more pictures of Keith or himself and Keith than anything else. Imagining him just staring at those photos if they’re ever separated for missions.

Something I’ve been thinking about (I’m daylight posting again) is a conversation between klance where Lance says something like it kinda sucks sometimes that they have to hide their situationship and Keith is like “I don’t actually care if everyone knows. I just put the effort in to be discreet because YOU care, and I care that you care.” And Lance is like lol well you wouldn’t actually date me would you tho cause this isn’t that serious. And keith is like. “Yeah. Actually I would date you. But you’ve made it very clear that this is just a casual friends with benefits thing and you don’t want more than that.” And Lance is like. Lance.exe has stopped working. He just blinks at Keith. And Keith is like “Lance I belong to you in more ways than you know” and now Lance is like wait a second MORE IS AN OPTION?

I can dream that they finally discuss the mate thing at last but I know they’re waaay too dramatic for that one so it would have to end up being some crazy blowout fight where Keith shouts it at him or like. Lance tries to break things off with Keith for his own heart and oops! Keith is gonna die if we don’t fix this shit fast! Or like. Keith is very very injured and he’s not sure if he’s gonna live and he finally is like ok I’ll tell u.

And when they finally do talk about it I am theorizing that it will be like. Keith telling Lance that he didn’t think Lance wanted more than what they had. And that he would give Lance his still beating heart if he could. And that he didn’t want to make Lance uncomfortable or scare him off or make him feel obligated to Keith because of how he is permanently tied to him. And Lance is just like. Oh my god we are idiots I’m gonna beat ur ass Keith. And idk maybe he punches Keith in the face real good and then they make out while Keith’s got a nosebleed or something.

Oh moody Keith my beloved. Moody Keith who softens when Lance shows up or checks in with him my beloved. Keith who is everything they remember him being on earth until Lance shows up and then he’s suddenly pliant and willing to change things and people are Confused As Fuck. Keith who genuinely loves his team and shows them that openly my BELOVED.

Just finished the new ch of Daylight and I have so many feelings

Keith gonna get his ass beat once it comes out Lance is actually his mate. Lance is gonna beat his ass so bad.

Lances Mama basically telling Lance she has his number on Keith being just a friend bc she can tell he was so so worried and talking about it with him a little. Mama McClain says Klance 5ever.

I’d bet money that Veronica was interrogating Keith a little bit while they sat in the lounge.

Lance needs to tell Keith that the Vrell was in his dream doing scary shit and he NEEDS to tell Keith what Dream-Keith said about never loving Lance. Bc I just know Keith would be mega upset about that and it might be enough for him to tell Lance that he loves him.

I procrastinated my responsibilities to read this chapter.

See smth I love abt daylight is the fact that I know smore won’t kill Allura and then make Lance stay on earth, giving up his dream of space travel in order to grow flowers for the ghost of a girl who never truly loved him.

Allura does love Lance, just not in a romantic way. She wants to be there for Lance. Be something for him, but clearly knew that it wouldn’t be fair to either of them to use him as a rebound. And Lance likes Keith anyways. He loves Keith in fact, that is obvious.

I’m really glad smore made Allura take all that in stride too.

No u don’t understand (im daylight posting again) I need Lance to bring Keith home to his family like he imagined and dreamed about I need it like I need air to breathe like maybe the family can tell that something is happening between them but they can also tell it’s a touchy subject for Lance so they prob won’t ask about it (but they’ll definitely make some lighthearted ribs at Lance about his very handsome and rugged leader and how clearly something is happening there) etc etc.

I need lances mom doting on Keith, who is clearly a good leader and clearly relies on her son and trusts him completely and totally. Keith, who is tense and awkward amongst the chaos of the McClain clan and has very seldom felt wanted and loved in his life and feels a very clear separation from the team despite how he loves them so. She has a natural motherly instinct and sees Keith, scrappy and rough as he is around the edges and can tell that he needs a mother’s love. And she can see how those rough edges soften just a little with her boy Lance. She can see the care he treats her baby with, even when they’re restraining themselves.

I need the McClain siblings just absorbing Keith into their family immediately regardless of the label he has with Lance.

I need Keith McClain so bad

Additionally I’d like to imagine krolia meeting them and suddenly everyone understands why Keith is the way he is; his mom and him are carbon copies and they act the same.

I wonder what Lance does when he’s woken up from a nightmare. Does he cry? Does he scream? Does he try to fight whoever woke him up like Keith does?
