Another AU snippet
An AU of an AU idea I already have with @daylightisminetoconsume, where Jasper is struck with the decimaar blade and becomes his unwilling cupbearer. The only tell-tale that it happened because the digit her hand got cut turned black.
So better idea. Instead of leaving it just like that. Because of the soul bond the decimaar blade practically creates to control his soldiers, and Jaspers still unknown shape shifting capabilities. What if Jaspers magic responded to the blade of decimaar by taking on Gunmar as well. Slowly turning her into the kind of troll he is. A Hearthborn troll. And the more she’s summoned by the blade or gunmar and spends time around them. The faster the transformation begins. Jaspers halfling form, starting from her hand to her arm, a creeping black and her veins beginning to come alight with an ill blue-green very similar to gunmar.
With only a matter of time before Jasper can hide or find out how to stop it.
