I'm still in touch with my old gang from high school. We were a pretty tight group of around 25-30 folks back in the 70s.
Over the years we've lost a few gang members to cancer. Heartbreaking.
I started a "Rosco's Gang" group on FB, where anyone can post pix and memories from way back when. It's a private group, as you might imagine, but any family member is welcome.
I have a box of prints from the seventies. I have a whole lot of negatives, too.
Every once in a while I'll dig around in that box and pull out a print or two, maybe a envelope with some 35mm negatives, and do some scanning and post the good ones in the FB group.
So, I was sitting in the music room, listening to a coupla' albums and checking FB to see if anyone commented on the pictures I recently uploaded.
This one, taken at Michael Y's birthday party, got the most attention.
I titled the scan "happy campers," because, well, look at us. A definite lull in the festivities.
Not sure who took the picture, Michael M or Jimmy likely, but since I have the negs I'm going to guess it was my camera that was used. It was taken sometime between 1973-1975.
