Daysoul!

In the Picrew, the marking on her head is a leader's star. I thought it would be fun if it was a spot that gradually appeared, like how some animals' fur changes over time. Then it can be a leader's marking for all who like the leader's marking idea, or it can be a regular marking that just happened to appear after she became leader.

I also had a thought. Most StarClan-rejected cats have the black pupils with white rings, but Daysoul's case is a peculiar one. She wasn't an upstanding, caring leader who rejected StarClan, she was an upstanding and caring leader who was rejected by StarClan (without being a murderer or abuser), so what if her pupils were different? oh a few follow up questions!:

Were Day and Star adopted in life or in the DF? I believe the trio didn't officially become mates until they joined the DF (correct me if I'm wrong). If the kits were adopted in life, were they adopted by one of them and later adopted by the other two as well when they did become an official family?

Also, should I refer to Golden, Spring, and Spirit all as parents, or just Spirit as a parent and Golden and Spring as fathers? Asking 'cause Spring and Golden are listed as fathers, but Spring goes by 'it' in addition to 'he' and Golden goes by 'they' in addition to 'he', so I wanted to check!

Day and Star were adopted in life! They are bio siblings (in answer to your other ask) as well.

I realized that bc I wasn't as experienced when writing out the Spirit/Spring/Golden trio I left a few details a bit muddied.

They did become mates in life, but only after Burnkill was finally murdered. About four years after that is when they were caught in the fire!

They all parented the kits together, although Goldenstar was a bit distant during harder moons while StarClan was basically threatening the lives of the kits. Daysoul and Stardust have no resentment towards Golden for this, because once they grew up they also had a growing resentment towards StarClan.

Spiritstring is their parent, while Golden and Spring use 'father' and 'parent' interchangeably! So referring to them as the parents works just fine!

--Flintcall was sent by StarClan to get rid of Daysoul, and was killed by Mangledheart when he attempted to sneak back into the territory.
