Made a few tweaks. :)

I’ve seen enough and figured it was time to protect myself and the fandom by making this official.

Transformative works

My work is available for the following:

Traditional and digital art

File Sharing 

In the event I lose my mind and delete, I consider this the backup button. *tips hat* 

Translations

I permit translations, but I do not permit the content of my story to be changed/altered. Please send a link so that I can share. If you post to AO3, please use the related works option.

Videos/edits 

No need to ask in these cases, but you’re free to drop a link so I can share. Please credit properly.

Audiobooks/podfics

Please do not solicit donations via venmo, ko-fi, etc, to recordings of my work or monetize podcasts on Spotify.

Anyone is welcome to create something otherwise inspired by any aspect of a completed work as long as I am credited and linked to the fic.

Fancrafts/products such as, but not limited to, canvas bags, shirts, mugs, pins, or stickers. 

Do not use references to my fanfic or inadaze22/inadaze/etc in search terms, descriptions, or tags for merchandise made for sale.

The merch must be disambiguated from Warner Brothers and Harry Potter’s IP. 

Please be fair and do not take advantage of people.

Bookbinding

Anyone can bind my works for themselves or for a friend as a gift. 

Must be profit-free: No money is to be charged above the actual cost of materials and shipping. No charging for labor, time, additional fees, etc.

My authorship (and any artists) must be properly acknowledged. 

Typesets must be self-made or publicly available and free.  

Do not sell or offer typesets or bound books on any site with monetary compensation, including but not limited to Etsy and Patreon.

I do not give permission for mass production (this includes “non-commercial printing” and the use of profit-free commissions of my fanfic from non-commercial bookbinders for a reduced price), commission/sales of finished books or typesets. 

I do not allow my work to be used for auctions, charity giveaways, or placed behind paywalls/Patreon tiers. 

This transformative work policy does not grant permissions for art inspired by my works.

If there is art you wish to use in your binding, please contact the artist directly for permission. The artist(s) must consent to the manner in which their art will be used, including text overlays.

Miscellaneous

Do not reupload or repost my works

I only post on AO3 and FFN. I do not permit my fics to be redistributed, archived, or reposted anywhere (the exceptions are file-sharing or mirror sites). This includes Wattpad or other free-reading sites. 

I have no issues with downloading or saving copies for personal use

Do not attach my fics to Goodreads.

I had them removed (finally) after an author’s profile was created (and later re-added upon initial deletion) without my consent. 

I reserve the right to update my policies as unprecedented circumstances arise. Please contact me if something isn’t covered and you have questions. No response does not mean yes, and permission granted on a case-by-case basis does not extend to others if they do not reach out individually.

hi! So excited to read kingdom come! I love fantasy and dramione so this is a dream. Quick question though, is this fic going to be a fast burn or a slowish burn? either way, I’m on tenterhooks for each new chapter!!

Unmmm... this depends on your personal definition of a slow burn. And what are we burning towards---spice or love confessions.

Like with all my work, the romance plays out but there's a lot of things happening around them as well. Their relationship build is more central in this story than, say, Measure of a Man where first the focus is on Scorpius and Hermione's growing bond/Narcissa's illness before she even begins to look at Draco in a romantic sense.

But I didn't tag slow burn, if that helps answer your question.

The story has time skips and will jump days or weeks even within the chapter -- like chapter three skipping along through at least six months. I guess that timeline wise it could considered a slower burn but we skip over so many of their days that I can't in good conscience call it a slow burn. Maybe a reasonable burn?

Thank you! I'm so very excited to wrap this story up. It's been living rent free in my head. I have a companion piece in this world set up, but until I'm ready to start, I've been working on other things and have posted a few snippets on twitter.

I'm in an experimental phase so my future works will likely be wildly different from Measure of a Man and a bit niche in genre, but writing is all about growth and development, taking chances and having fun. Which is what I'm doing.

Hello! I'm not sure if you've been asked about this before, but I've come across book-binding fanfictions and I was wondering if you allow or will allow it for your own. Unrelated, I really love your writing style, MoaM is my favourite fanfiction of all times.

I thought I answered this but couldn't find it here but yes, I do allow my stories to be bound but not for profit. I do ask that it not be done until after I'm finished. My beta and I want to sweep through the story and make soft edits.

How do you plan your fics? You seem so we'll organized that I'm curious about the process. Do you have the start and end In your head and just kinda plan out an outline for each chapter before sitting down to actually write ?

Depends on the fic. A oneshot has virtually little to no planning. Sometimes medium length stories have no planning, just an idea and how I want it to end and what should happen. I didn't really plan a multi-chaptered fic til Broken (before I had a general idea and ran with it), Broken required a fair amount of forethought.

MoaM required a lot of forethought (has two outlines) and is probably my most chaotically planned fic which is ironic because it's the first one I've written in ages. And I was rusty at planning and writing.

After dictating the whole idea to K, my beta, she suggested I sit down one weekend and just type this out. And I did so ferociously: scenes and quotes and dialogue ideas and whatnot that's probably about 38 pages and actually was about half the fic. Straight word vomit. Then I mentally stretched to the end to see what might happen, but didn't firm up my idea for the end until I had written up to 21. Hence why I have two outlines.

Realized then that MoaM is three acts.

From there I decide what my themes will be, build characters, histories, lives and arcs, tied everyone and everything together (the cast is enormous but everyone is linked) and I let my brain sit on it and replay it all in my head like a movie. I had to decide on if I was world building as I went or if I should build the world, introduce the key plot points, and kick off events with Draco's introduction...

We all know which way I went.

Anyway, I actually was supposed to put MoaM on ice for a couple of months to finish Falling is like This, but I got the idea for an opening scene (which was actually the second scene in chapter 3) that I had to write immediately...and then I couldn't stop writing. I blinked, it was 10 weeks later and I had 100k, and well I started from there.

Little nuanced details at the beginning (Scorp's sign language, Hermione's tea habits, the friendship with Al, and Draco doing crossword with pen, etc) are kind of thought up on the fly. But I remember them to tie back to them later.

The strange thing is sometimes characters surprise you and MoaM Dramione surprised me so much that I had to turn back 13 chapters and change a few things for fluidity. Which wasn't planned at all.

Hope that answered everything. I think it's virtually impossible to cleanly plan such a large story lmao so here's how organized chaos works. 😊

Hey I know it might sound strange but I was wondering if you could please do another epilogue of Broken...probably when they are married so that we can have a look of their later life...

My thoughts are really running rampant in my mind and I’m already losing my patience for the next MoaM update

At this time, I have no plans to do another Broken epilogue. I have a bunch of other ideas and things I want to write. Writing Broken as a whole was exhausting and draining and took a very intense toll on my overall mental health. I tend to put myself emotionally into their shoes and feel what they're feeling in order to write so I went to the depths with Hermione and came out on the other side.

I have better safeguards now that I'm older, but I don't plan to ever venture back into that headspace. I attribute Broken partly to the fact that I stopped writing for 9 years. 😅

Hi Ina! thank you so much for sharing MoaM with us all. It's been a riveting ride all the way through. So many lessons learnt from your writing. Now that I've read the final chapter, I'm experiencing perhaps my worst case of book hangover. The essence of your story is constantly on my mind, I wish I could experience this universe anew, without any recollection. If it's not too nosy, can I ask what inspires your style of writing? Or if it's okay to ask what are your favourite books out there?

Hi! And thank you so much! I'm glad you're enjoying it and so sorry about the book hangover.

As for my style, I...genuinely don't know. I just... write like this? I write what I see. It's always the little things that stick out.

But also the narrative depends on the character.

Hermione as a narrator to me will be a little more descriptive and nuanced (to the point of being somewhat tedious) than Draco would be (his inner dialogue and sarcasm would ring out more like in Anchors in a Storm). So 600k of MoaM Hermione has turned me into a more illustrative? writer, I suppose. I want the reader to see it as I do. I just have a good beta who shaves it off before I go too deep in the woods. I'm not so good at balance 😅

My favorite books? God I love the classics but I also read urban fantasy and YA and pretty much anything that sounds remotely interesting. Asking me to pick only one fave is like asking a parent to pick their favorite kid. I simply can't. 😅😅😅😅
