After all this time, Bruhim is still shook when his wife shows any sort of intimacy towards him. Poor dude doesn't believe he deserves it after all these years.

Alrighty! So how about we delve a little into Saft's backstory? I have a whole big thing typed out in the Discord but it's full of some big spoilers so have a few keypoints of stuff that happened before Saft first met Corvidan. - Saft's dad (Ravus) took off away from home due to how strict and controlling his father (Bruhim) was. - Eventually came across a fishing village and fell in love with Saft's human mom. They fell in love (Obviously) but eventually the people in the village kicked off and Ravus lost his shit and wound up killing his wife in the process. - NOW THIS IS WHERE I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO CAUSE IN THE ORIGINAL STORY- SAFT GOT MOSES'D OUT OF THE VILLAGE AND INTO THE ARMS OF A GUY WHO LOOKED AFTER HER FOR SEVERAL YEARS UNTIL SAFT'S DAD KILLED HIM AND KIDNAPPED SAFT. - But anyway at some point, Saft DOES get taken by Saft's dad and imprisoned in a cave for a REALLY long time. Sealed off away from the world and experimented on via magic and other stuff... - SPOILERS POILERS SPOILERS. ANYWAY Saft is eventually saved and dumped on her great granduncle (Gladinus). They struggle to get on together at first...but Saft's dad turns up all pissed and shit that his experiment has been nabbed off him. - Saft learns that she has dragon abilities and needs to hone in on them if she's ever got any chance of taking down dear ol' dad. - Saft's dad eventually gets his ass handed to him by Saft, Grandfather and other dragons. - Saft is accepted as a part of Dragonsbayne and for a while we get lots of slice of lifey stuff with Saft trying to awkwardly fit in with her new family. And then Saft eventually ventures out and meets Corvidan after all that.
