It’s time to talk about ole Max Johnson Jr., aka “The Hillbilly.”
Why is he called The Hillbilly? Because Leatherface lived out in the sticks and thus their Diet Rite version had to be from out in the sticks. Is there anything in his lore to justify the name? Of course not! Brace yourselves, there’s a hefty dose of ableism in this particular chunk of lore.
