Treats for Halloween (Hillbilly/Max Thompson Jr. X Reader)

You had heard rumors that the Thompson family had a son.

You didn’t believe it until the day you saw Evelyn Thompson put food in a hole in the wall outside.

One day when you got the courage to go up to the hole and speak to it is when you heard a voice.

Since then any time your father took you to the Thompson house. While the elders were busy visiting with each other you would sneak to the hole and talk with Jr.

You told him anything that came to mind. Since you figured he was bored being locked in there. As much as you would like to help him, you had no true power to help him.

But your kindness was enough for him.

It was during October when you decided to be bold.

While the Halloween party was going and everyone was outside drinking and having loud conversations you came to where Jr was hidden away.

“Happy Halloween Jr. hopefully next year we can spend it together.” You said as you carefully pushed a small bag of treats through the hole.

There was a pause before you heard him ripping open the bag of treats.

Hopefully one day you can get him out of this hell but for now you’ll just be there for him on the other side of the wall.
