Amidst the burned wreckage of an abandoned theater, someone still takes the stage for their greatest performance yet.
Map- The Spades Theater
Though small in size this map is unique in that it comprises three complete levels and five separate areas making it flexible for both long range, stealth killers, and everyone in between. Survivors also benefit from the flexibility with its various hiding and looping areas. The main challenge of the map is it’s tight space, allowing an easier chase as the killer can trap survivors in corners or allowing survivors to easily outmaneuver bulkier or slower killers.
The ground floor comprises the main stage, ground seating, lobby area, ground floor backstage and some dressing rooms. Trapdoors are available to drop into the below stage area and stairs for upper levels. Upper map section is made of the mezzanine and some box seats as well as backstage catwalks. Below stage is the basement level with two sets of stairs. This space is very open save for props and other storage items that can block line of sight. The basement will always spawn on either the left or right side of this level.
Killer Shack: None
Killer Irene Oakland (The Muse)
The Muse is a diverse killer. While her standard weapon is a rapier, this weapon will actually change according to her costume. She also demonstrates telekinetic abilities via her secondary attack.
Perks
Stage Props (hex totem): Whenever a survivor is hooked a random chest, totem, and generator cannot be interacted with for 10/20/30 seconds. Any affected generator will in addition lose progress during this time.
“The scene is set, and I am eager to take center stage.”- Irene Oakland
Stage Lights: Any survivor entering the trial with a flashlight is automatically placed in the broken state.
“There is no replacing a good stagehand.”- Irene Oakland
Remember Your Lines (hex totem): Any survivor that has been hooked at least once will face a 15/30/45 percent increase of difficult skill checks whenever they are within a 40 meter range of the killer.
“The audience applauds but not for you.”- Irene Oakland.
Survivor: Thomas Grey (Role: The Guarded Sound Tech.)
Cautious yet observant. Thomas Grey is often in the background but keenly aware of the world around him, allowing the survivor to stay quick and quiet as he moves around the map. His perks Sound Check, Get Your Gear, and Not Again benefit Thomas should he trust his teammates enough to work with them or if he prefers to survive alone.
Perks
Sound Check
You are aware of all sounds around you. Killers automatically have a five meter increase of their terror radius including while in any stealth mode. In addition, the actions of your fellow survivors have a five meter increase.
“Check, check…. Check”- Thomas Grey
Get Your Gear
Any item gained from a chest is automatically green level or higher. Items retrieved from basement chests are always purple level. Passing along a fully charged item gained from the basement to another survivor gives you a 25 point bonus in altruism.
“Careful! None of this was cheap.”- Thomas Grey
Not Again
Let’s not fall for the same trick twice. Your vaults are 10% faster and there is no limit to window vaults. Pressing the secondary action allows you to fast vault with an immediate sprint burst afterwards. You suffer from the exhausted status for 15 seconds after, before being allowed to use the action again.
