I love hearing people talk about their oc’s so like go off
OK so I have like three generations of ocs, two of which have several different AUs to go with them so im gonna tal about the first gen here
Lakeside High is where I created my first generation of ocs (Rose, Benji, Ashton, Ava, Uma, and Jason). Rose moves to Lakeside High, a previously failing private school because she was being bullied by someone (Jessica) who had a obsession with her ex-boyfriend (Ashton). She made a few close friends (some easier than others) and with their help made the school a lot better in terms of it’s reputation and overall happiness of the students. Rose and Benji used to be rivals because he attempted to sabatoge her school and her place thereover losing an internship (that honestly had fuck all to do with her, he was just mad someone from her school won it over him, who had apparently been working his whole life for that internship). He would have succeeded if Rose hadn’t managed to talk him out of sabatoging her any further. His actions did lead him to get expelled from the high performing magnet school he previously attended. Because of his strict and controlling father he was going to be sent to a boarding school in Manila, which he strongly hated. But out of the kindness of her heart (and partially because she thought he was still kinda cute even if he was formerly her rival) she managed to convince the school board at her high school to admit Benji so he could stay
Obviously not everyone was happy that Benji was admitted to Lakeside, least of all his father, who became rather physically abusive towards him. Most students didn’t know about this, not even his former friend (who is not listed on my oc page yet). Rose attempts to help Benji ease back into the good graces of his classmates, much to the anger of her best friend and former crush Ava. (I say former because while it does say on the oc page that Ava is the one that had a crush on Rose, it was before Rose transferred that Rose crushed on her. The problem is Ava never spoke up about how she felt about Rose until she moved away and transferred to Lakeside). By the time Ava transferred, she had heard about all the bullshit Benji had pulled with Rose, so her seeing her bestie getting so buddy-buddy with a guy she believed would hurt her again would obviously be upsetting. She does everything in her power to drive a wedge between them, and it almost gets them killed at some points.(I’m rewriting this part so Ava doesn’t look like a homicidal person. There was some bit where Benji gets shot and somehow lasts for a few days without treatment) It’s only when she sees Benji genuinely upset that he hurt Rose that she realizes that he actually does care about her. In the aftermath of all this, Ava’s brother and father (who were involved in this mess) end up running away to Brazil to avoid legal consequensese, leaving Ava stranded and homeless. Although Rose was upset that Ava did not talk to her about how she felt instead of taking matters into her own hands, this was her childhood friend, and the last thing she’d want is for her friend to be left with no one. So she let Ava move in with her since her brother was in a college for celebrity wannbes. And she and Benji do get together (I’m still working on that arc to because I’m. Not good with writing romance arcs and the way I had it before they kinda just. Fell in love). And Benji does end up redeemed by his classmates and his father is ordered to stay away from his son or risk jail time (being having a little bit of money allows you to twist the arm of the law in that town, but it’s better than the way I had originally had it where he “””””””forgives””””””” his father for treating him like shit.. UGH.)
And this is just the first part, considering we havent gotten to Jason or Ashton or Uma yet
