Hey, I read Der Besuch der alten Dame, and I actually quite liked it, esp. Claire Zachanassian, I found her to be a very interesting character. Also the dynamics of the people in the village and the family of the protagonist and the development of their attitude towards him are quite fascinating. Why do you need comments?

Well, I played the role last year and that is why I got to write a paper about the complexity of the Alfred/Klara/Claire relationship and the thin line between Love/Hate/Love etc etc

I need some opinions on Dürrenmatt's works to conclude my paper with just to show my professor that he is indeed a fantastic writer.

Ich dachte, Der Besuch der alten Dame war gut geschrieben und ein gutes Buch, aber ich fühlte, dass die Handlung hätte besser sein können und das war ich nicht allzu gern dem Zeichen 'Alfred', aber das ist nur meine Meinung. Hoffe das hilft dir :3 x

1- Der Alten Dame was fun when I read it- I think I expected it to be a little more serious and metaphorical etc. because I was reading it for a class, but it was fun. 2-um can I have a song please? <3 ♬

I've read der besuch der alten dame, and I quite liked it. Especially because it was a little different from what I'd expect from a book like that. Claire was interesting and I liked seeing how the people slowly changed and the feeling of discomfort that came with that.

Okay :-) So.. I really enjoyed reading Der Richter und sein Henker. Truth be told I wasn't fond of the plot but his writing was amazing. I liked the way he expressed himself.

Dear people who have read Der Besuch der alten Dame, I need comments on how you liked it. Just one or two sentences.

I'd read your book. I'd also just read your paper, and I'm certain it'll turn out brilliant, because you're driven, clever, really fuckin good at German and passionate about the subject, so yes it will be a great masterpiece. :) My letter's to be this formal thing in which I complain about unexpected rent (because of electricity consumption) on a holiday home (but we barely consumed that apparently and they said those costs were included, hence the complaining). And yes, I'd love to be amazing-

I see how it is, well it's seems easy looking at it one way but then again it's really complex. I'm sure you nailed it perfectly!

Ahh, I love the way you talk about Claire and Alfred! I've gotten really interested in how your essay turns out. Writersblock sucks :( Is it working out by now? Have you just started in the middle? And haha, you're right; there would be no book. Whoah, if you wrote it I'd have one hell of a good letter! I've finished it now but it feels so flimsy. :( (teach me your ways, master?) Congratulations on your lit competition, I didn't know that, but that's awesome!

I am so in love with everything they are and I swear I could write a book about it. 

I just started putting random paragraphs together and I hope they will turn into a masterpiece of art in the end because that is basically what I am going for. 

What was your letter about, if I may ask? I shall teach you my ways and we can be amazing writers together.
